CES Commercial Equipment Services was established in 1975 by Joe Robertsons. It was his goal to provide honest and quick heating and air conditioning service, maintenance, repair and installation for small businesses in his Virginia Beach area. After keeping CES small for years as a one man company, his son Jim returned from the Navy and began helping his father grow the business. With the same values as his father, in the first 2 years CES had opened its first official office in Virginia Beach, VA and hired the first technician and a secretary. Growing with the community over the next 25 years CES branched off adding more locations and stretching its tentacles into other states. By 1991 Ocean City, MD location had opened, 1997 Dover, DE location had opened, and Hanover, MD location had opened in 2005.
